The terms that govern your access to and use of our website and the transportation services provided by Steadway Mobility Group LLC.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website at https://gosteadway.com and the transportation services provided by Steadway Mobility Group LLC (“Steadway”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing our website, requesting a ride, or using our Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Not for emergencies. Steadway does not provide emergency transportation. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately. Do not use our website or Service to request emergency assistance.

1. The Service

Steadway provides nonemergency care and medical transportation, including scheduled and recurring rides for individuals with disabilities, older adults, and medical clients. We are a nonemergency provider and do not provide ambulance, paramedic, or emergency medical services.

2. Not for Emergencies

Steadway does not provide emergency transportation. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately. Do not use our website or Service to request emergency assistance.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to submit a request or agree to these Terms. Rides for minors must be arranged by a parent, guardian, agency, or other authorized party who agrees to these Terms on the minor rider’s behalf.

4. Booking, Scheduling, and Changes

You are responsible for providing accurate rider information, pickup and drop off details, times, and any accessibility needs. Recurring routes and individual trips are subject to availability and confirmation. Cancellation, no show, and change policies may apply as described at the time of booking or in your service agreement.

5. Your Responsibilities

When you use the Service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information for each rider and trip
  • Ensure the rider is ready at the scheduled pickup time and location
  • Confirm the rider is appropriate for nonemergency transportation
  • Follow reasonable safety instructions, including seatbelt use and wheelchair securement
  • Treat our drivers and staff with respect

We may decline, delay, or end service where safety, capacity, or compliance concerns require it.

6. Payment and Billing

Where a ride is funded by a program, plan, or broker, such as Medicaid or a managed care organization, billing is handled in accordance with that program. For private pay rides, fees are as quoted or as set out in your service agreement. You agree to pay any amounts for which you are responsible.

7. Communications Consent

By providing a phone number or email address, you consent to receive communications related to your transportation, including calls and text messages. You can opt out of text messages by replying STOP. Please review our Privacy Policy for more information about how we handle your information.

8. Intellectual Property

The website and its content, including logos, text, and graphics, are owned by or licensed to Steadway and are protected by applicable law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without our prior written permission.

9. Third Party Links

Our website may contain links to third party sites that we do not operate or control. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites and encourage you to review their terms and policies.

10. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and Service are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error free. This section does not limit any rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Steadway and its owners, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the website or Service.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Steadway and its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms is subject to the courts located in New Jersey, unless otherwise required by law.
